Spiti Valley is home to Asia’s highest bridge - Chicham Bridge
Travelers looking for an unforgettable place to mark their trip to Spiti Valley should definitely go to Chicham Bridge. Opened in 2017, the bridge is located at an altitude of 13595 meters above sea level and is the highest in Asia. The 113.83 meter long bridge spans the Samba Lamba Nallah, a 1000 feet deep gorge. It connects the villages of Kibber and Losar, helping to shorten the journey between them by about 40 km. Due to the height and the surrounding landscape, the place is known for attracting hikers and cyclists who want to take great photos. The bridge also connects Chandratal Lake, another tourist spot in the valley.
